Hey there, I'm Korin!

I've always been interested in art, but it wasn't until 2021 that I became an illustrator for Monarch Educational Services. I've done illustrations for 6 of their titles since then, from cover art to interior illustrations, and have also dabbled in chalkboard art and acrylic signage for local businesses, and various other commissions.

Stories are what inspire me and keep me creating. I admire classic artists with a natural, effortless, whimsical style, such as E.H. Shepard (Winnie the Pooh), Beatrix Potter (Peter Rabbit), and  Pauline Baynes (The Chronicles of Narnia). Ariel Olivetti, with his dynamic action scenes, and Lucy Fleming and her quirky characters, are two current artists whose work sparks my imagination.
